It doesn't. The mounting base has two tongues and our 2003 Corolla's receptacle has one groove.
It may have been possible to extract the bulbs from their bases, insert them into the old bases, then discard the new bases, but we had no guarantee that it would work. Besides, that isn't what we paid for.
We have alerted Amazon of the misleading "see if this fits" information and we're returning the product.
